JAYNE KELLY
Psychotherapist
Working with
Adults & Adolescents
Qualifications:
MA in Integrative Psychotherapy
BA in Education
Jayne is an incredibly warm and open therapist. She uses an integrative approach with her clients. She works in the here and now, with the difficulties they face from one day to the next, but she is also highly skilled in exploring and addressing past experiences and how they may be shaping a client's behaviours, decisions and drivers today.
Because of Jayne’s calming nature, she works with many men and with those who struggle to talk openly in therapy. Jayne understands the shame many people feel in speaking about their feelings, their pain and their past experiences. She is incredibly supportive of those who have been taught not to show their emotions.
Jayne has over 20 years’ experience of working with adults and adolescents in the education sector and has an in-depth understanding of the pressures facing teachers, teaching assistants, lecturers and students alike. She’s worked with parents, carers, and grandparents too, and recently been sought out by those in the teaching profession and progressing through academia due to her reputation and in-depth understanding of the pressures they face.
Such a strong skillset has led Jayne to work extensively with young professionals, high achievers and those experiencing grief and feelings of loss. Our clients appreciate Jayne’s use of humour in her sessions and her endless compassion.
Jayne also has considerable experience in working with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, feeling lost and seeing the strengths in a neurodiverse diagnosis.
Jayne believes wholeheartedly in working collaboratively to build a strong and trusting relationship. If you’re looking to make changes in your life but don’t know where to start, Jayne would make a great therapist for you.
